Patricia A. Malis, 61, of Saxonburg, formerly of Sarver, passed away peacefully Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born March 2, 1950, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Clifford P. and Bernice A. (McLaughlin) Kelley.

Patricia graduated from Freeport High School, Class of 1968.

She was a member of the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon and was active in the sewing group. She also was a member of the Saxonburg Library Association and the Butler Dog Training Association.

She sent cards to people for five years through the Stephen Ministry. Patricia and her beloved dog, Daisey, went to nursing homes in the area, where Daisey worked as a therapy dog. Patricia enjoyed reading, painting ceramics and helping people.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Arondia M. (Joseph) Price of Tarentum; her husband, John R. Malis, who she married July 6, 1984; her stepchildren, Cory J. Malis of Butler, Kim R. Malis of Cabot, Kelly (Ronald) Walker of Dayton and JackieLee (John) Wimer of Kittanning; her brother, Howard R. Kelley of Saxonburg; and her grandchildren, Dallas M. Price, Jessi L. Price, John Daniel Price, Lindsey Stewart, Zachary Walker, Tanieka D. (Mike) Cornish, Tiffany (David) Beatty and Tyler (Steffi) Crytzer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

<B>MALIS</B> — Friends of Patricia A. Malis, who died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, P.O.
