Lewis L. Biffaretti
Lewis L. Biffaretti, 68, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler on July 25, 1942, and was the son of the late Leonard and Margaret F. Torquato Biffaretti.
Lewis worked as a valve assembler at G&A Industries in Mars, retiring in 2008. He also was formerly employed at Pullman Standard until it closed.
He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed playing cards and going to casinos. He also loved going camping with his grandchildren.
Lewis was a member of Saint Mark's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Viola “Sue” Fox Biffaretti, who he was married to for 44 years; two daughters, Mrs. Michele Smith and her husband, Jayme, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Nicole Kuhns and her husband, Jack, of Butler; one sister, Mrs. Donna Bopp and her husband, Regis, of Butler; eight grandchildren, Casey, Caleb, Tyler, Alyssa and Emily Smith, all of Colorado Springs, and Jack, Jacob and Jaret Kuhns, all of Butler; one great-granddaughter, Madeline Smith of Colorado Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael A. Biffaretti, and one sister, Paulette Gray.
<B>BIFFARETTI</B> — Friends of Lewis L. Biffaretti, who died Thursday, May 26, 2011, will be received at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
