Church hosts welcome potluckBUTLER TWP — Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 North Duffy Road, will hold a potluck dinner at 11:30 a.m. July 10 to welcome the Rev. Jeff St. Clair, his wife Jennifer and their children, Aaron, Alayna and Abby.St. Clair, 36, is a graduate of California (Pa.) University and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He taught elementary school in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Hagerstown, Md., and has served United Methodist churches in Speers Dunlevy, Harrisville and Baldwin.He also serves on the board of directors for Jumonville, a United Methodist camp.

Annual camp meeting plannedCONNEAUTVILLE, Crawford County — The interdenominational Peniel Holiness Camp Meeting is set for July 21 to 31 at the camp on Route 18.The meeting will feature music by the Keeling Family, The Victory Life Church Choir, Tab Beechler and the Kentucky Mountain Bible College Singers.Evangelists include the Red Ted Robinson of the Nazarene Church, the Rev. Roy Gearhart of the United Methodist Church, the Rev. Gary Bond, a traveling sermon and song evangelist and others. Youth activities are planned.
