Beale

The Lord took Robert A. Beale, 82, of Chicora home Wednesday from Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 30, 1929, in Freeport, he was the son of Richard B. Beale and Myrna M. (Harrison) Beale.

He was a retired sheet metal worker.

Mr. Beale served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a Presbyterian, and he was a former member of the Worthington Lions Club. He also was a proud member of the Masons. He liked the outdoors.

Surviving are three children, Robin (Clark) Patton of Newark, Ohio, Jerry (Renita) Beale of Alexandria, Ohio and Michael (Lisa) Beale of Fenelton; eight grandchildren, Tim (Shawna) Patton, Joshua (Kristen) Patton, Ryan (Jami) Patton, Christopher Beale, Alicia (Matthew) Taylor, Tyler Beale, Ethan Beale and Brandon Beale; two great-grandchildren, Scotty and Abigail; a brother, Benjamin H. (Ella Mae) Beale of Freeport; and a sister, Joanne Arnold of Natrona Heights.

In addition to his parents, a sister, Olive McCrea, preceded him in death.

<B>BEALE</B> — Friends of Robert A. Beale, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the <B>F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B>, Worthington. Visitation also will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home where services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Hindman officiating.
