David R. Briner, 54, of Butler passed away June 13 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 27, 1956, in Baltimore, Md., the son of Mary (Heller) Lang of Portersville and the late Edward Lang.

David was a cook at Burger Hut.

Surviving, along with his mother, are a son, Erik Briner of Ellwood City; a stepson, Stephan Lucas of Ellwood City; three sisters, Hope (Jeff) Stoner of Portersville and Deborah Briner and Diane McFeaters, both of Butler; and two brothers, Donald Briner of Youngstown, Ohio, and Michael (Vicki) Briner of Portersville.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Terry Lynn Gould.
