Norma Faye Snodgrass, 78, of Butler died at 5:10 a.m. Monday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler, Feb. 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Braden Kiser and Norma Shakley Kiser.

Mrs. Snodgrass was a member of Community Alliance Church.

She retired from Magnetics, where she was an assembler and also a forewoman.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Corky” Snodgrass, who she married May 16, 1958; three sons, Wayne Snodgrass of Center Township, Mark Snodgrass and his wife, Trudy, of West Sunbury, and Gary Snodgrass and his wife, Patsy, of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; three grandsons, Joshua Snodgrass, Justin Snodgrass and Matthew Snodgrass; one granddaughter, Caitlin Snodgrass; one brother, Paul Kiser and his wife, Renie, of West Sunbury; five sisters, Velma Blain, Isabel Bacher, Cleo Baxter and her husband, Ronald, Viola Yartz and Carol Book and her husband, Jacque, all of Butler; and also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ina Weisenstein, and three brothers Willis, Ray and Dale Kiser.

<B>SNODGRASS </B>— Friends of Norma Faye Snodgrass, who died Monday, June 20, 2011, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at Community Alliance Church at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Dennis Krajacic of the Community Alliance Church officiating.
