PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man is expected to make a full recovery after getting stranded as he worked on the roof of a house in oppressive heat.

Lamont Robinson slipped as he worked on the roof of his cousin's Pittsburgh home and found himself stuck because of the hot tar he'd been using.

Robinson was stuck on the hot roof for nearly two hours in temperatures that hovered in the low-90s. Firefighters rescued him around noon after a relative realized Robinson couldn't get down on his own.

BETHLEHEM — Investigators say an accidental fire destroyed a dozen used cars at a dealership after flaming gasoline floated on water running beneath the vehicles.Fire officials in Bethlehem say gasoline vapor ignited as workers refilled a power washer at the Chevy 21 dealership. They say the washer's water container melted, sending the flaming gasoline down the lot and under a line of cars.Employees unsuccessfully tried to knock down the flames before firefighters arrived.

ERIE — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie can add a poker room.The gaming board approved the poker tables on Wednesday as part of a hearing in which it also renewed the casino's slot machine license. Pennsylvania casinos must get such licenses renewed every three years.Casino officials are hoping the poker tables will bring in about $500,000 more revenue each year before expenses.
