2 are gift to the arts
Having been involved in many of the arts events in Butler and currently a producer of the Summer Dramatics Project, I feel that a big thank-you is owed to two people in Butler.
Joy May, along with her son, Josh, own May’s Music Shoppe. They also are the ticket center of Butler. They cheerfully sell tickets to most of Butler’s arts events.
I handle the tickets for the Summer Dramatics presentation, this year being “Annie.” When I take them in to Josh and Joy, they gladly agree to sell them.
They, along with their employees, handle several different events tickets at the same time, and I have never had a problem with the part that I play with the Summer Dramatics tickets.
We have many people who work behind the scenes with events that we all enjoy attending. So many times these people work with no thanks at all.
I know I would be joined by many in saying “Thank you, Joy and Josh, and all who work for you” for their behind-the-scenes offering to the people of Butler, most especially the arts council groups.
