FRANKLIN — The Barrow-Civic Theatre presents the second Barrow Fun Blast from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday.Called “Put a Lid on It,” the Fun Blast is a night of activities and prizes to raise money for the capital campaign to replace the roof of the theater. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite floral shirts and grass skirts to the tropical beach themed evening.Admission is free. WASHINGTON, D.C. —The show called “POP!” is a musical murder mystery about Pittsburgh native and artist Andy Warhol being staged at the Studio Theatre, 1501 14th St. NW.The musical written by Maggie-Kate Coleman and composer Anna Jacobs explores the tumultuous artistic revelry of Warhol's infamous Factory.The run ends Aug. 7 with curtain at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 7:30 p.m. Sundays. The 40th annual Fort Armstrong Folk Festival is Aug. 4 to 7 in Kittanning.This year’s festival pays tribute to those who began the tradition 40 years ago.
