Teresa Ann “Terri” Leech, 69, of Butler passed away Monday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler, May 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Loyal C. and Thelda R. “Pep” Cottrill Craig.

A graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1960, she formerly was employed at Friedman's supermarket in the Greater Butler Shopping Mart, Eat 'n Park and the Sunshine Gift Shop.

She enjoyed crocheting, doll collecting, homemaking and her family.

She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the America Drum and Bugle Corps.

She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Leech, to whom she was married for 49 years; three sons, Edward J. Leech Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Butler, Craig F. Leech of Butler and Paul A. Leech and his wife, Brenda, of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; one daughter, Ruthann Long and her husband, Terry, of Fayetteville, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Matthew Leech and his wife, Ali, of Butler, Daniel Leech of Butler, Amber Leech of Hickory, N.C., Samantha Leech of Butler, Samantha Parker, of Fayetteville, Ga., Tyler Long, U.S. Army, Fort Jackson, S.C., Ashlynn Leech, of Hickory, N.C., Savannah Philips, of Butler and Olivia Long of Fayetteville, Ga.; one great-grandchild, Alexis Leech of Butler; two brothers, L. Thomas Craig and his wife, Virginia, of Butler and David A. Craig and his wife, Kathy, of Butler.

<B>LEECH</B> — Friends of Teresa Ann “Terri” Leech, who died Monday, July 11, 2011, will be received in <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A blessing service will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday. Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the VNA Inpatient Hospice.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
