Charlotte C. Boggie Rudaitis Grieb
Charlotte C. Boggie Rudaitis Grieb, 88, formerly of Slippery Rock and West Mifflin, died Wednesday morning at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Grove City.
Born in Coral, Indiana County, June 27, 1923, she was the daughter of James Boggie and Theresa Binando Boggie.
Her first husband, Clarence Robert Rudaitis, who she married Aug. 30, 1946, died March 13, 1965. Her second husband, William A Grieb Sr., who she married April 29, 1978, died June 16, 2000.
Charlotte was a waitress for many years at Paulie's Lookout in West Mifflin and at The Twin B's in Penn Hills.
She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin.
Surviving are a son, David R. (Gail) Rudaitis of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Linda Porter of Slippery Rock and Gayle Timmins of Slippery Rock; two stepdaughters, Karen (Drew) Giran of Elizabeth and Terri (Dale) Gerhardt of Fayetteville, Ga.; two stepsons, William C. Grieb, Jr. of Salem, Ohio, and Richard (Shelly) Grieb of San Jose, Calif.; and a brother, Dominic (Jean) Boggie of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and both her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son; a granddaughter; sisters Stella Embry, Christine Zambernard and Mamie Chimino; and a brother, Victor Boggie.
