Clement 'Clem' J. Gaydos
Clement “Clem” J. Gaydos, 81, of Southport, N.C., previously of Harmony, passed away Wednesday with his family by his side.
Clem was born in Natrona, Aug. 15, 1929.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Joan; his daughter, Kathleen Stolzenbach and her husband, Kurt, of Harmony; his daughter, Janine Caldwell, her husband, Cliff, and granddaughters, Kimberly and Alexis of Doylestown; his son, John Gaydos and his wife, Angela, and grandson, Zachary, of Alexandria, Va.; his son, Christopher Gaydos and his wife, Stephanie, of Hartford, Conn.; and his son, Joel Gaydos and Tina Carroll of Baltimore, Md.
Clem loved his family and friends dearly.
He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Clem served as a military policeman in Germany during the Korean War.
He could often be found hunting, fishing, woodworking, landscaping and rooting for the Steelers.
Clem could build and fix most anything and was always willing to help his neighbors, friends and family with projects.
His favorite quote was: “One generation plants trees; the next one sits in their shade.”
With his great sense of humor, we know that Clem is now in heaven fixing his good head of hair to prepare for the monthlong celebration of his August birthday.
<B>GAYDOS</B> — A funeral Mass for Clement “Clem” J. Gaydos, who died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W.
