Janice McKivigan Macefe

Janice McKivigan Macefe, 67, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born June 16, 1944, in Butler, to the late George Edward and Mary Alice (Maitland) McKivigan.

She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She worked at Magnetics for 46 years, retiring in February 2010, and she was a member of the Red Hat Society

Ms. McKivigan Macefe is survived by one son, Aaron McKivigan; two grandchildren, Rileigh McKivigan and Brenden McKivigan; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Edward and Mimi McKivigan and David and Anna Marie McKivigan; three sisters-in-law, Gail McKivigan Fleming, Ida Hilliard and Jean McKivigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert McKivigan, John McKivigan and Larry McKivigan; and one sister, Janetta Heasley.

<B>MACEFE</B> — Friends of Janice McKivigan Macefe, who died Thursday, July 28, 2011, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Steve Neff officiating. Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com..
