Virginia A. Fox
Virginia A. Fox, 89, of Grove City, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away Sunday at the home of her daughter.
Born Oct. 11, 1921, in Salisbury, Md., she was the daughter of Allen Norman and Hilda (Tillman) Norman.
She and her husband were owner/operators of the Glade Mill Greenhouse from 1962 to 1980.
She was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Surviving are three sons, Patrick Fox of Butler, Michael Fox of Baldwin, and Thomas Fox of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Linda (Dennis) Durnell of Grove City; two brothers, Richard Norman of Salisbury, Md., and Harry Davis of Salisbury, Md.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Norman; her mother, Hilda (Tillman) Norman; her husband, August “Red” Fox, in 1985; a daughter, Mary Fox Liebert; four brothers; a sister; and a grandson.
<B>FOX — </B>A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia A. Fox, who died Sunday, July 31, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 9 at the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. John Gizler officiating. Private burial will follow in Middlesex Methodist Cemetery.<B>FOX FUNERAL HOME </B>in Saxonburg is attending to the arrangements.Memorial donations may be made to a homeless shelter or hospice of the donor’s choice.
