ZELIENOPLE — Nothing is taking place at the Strand Theater this weekend, and for good reason. All efforts are being directed toward the preparations for the theater’s first full-length musical, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” which will be staged Sept. 30 to Oct. 9.

Curtain will be at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays.

The program is professionally produced and cast, featuring four leads with extensive music and performance credentials.

Stars include Jeremy Czarniak, Kathy Lash Fuller, Mary Ann Mangini and Drew Martier.

The musical comedy presents a series of vignettes about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws.

Songs include “Baby Song,” “Marriage Tango” and “On the Highway of Love.”
