Edward M. 'Mike' Simmons

Edward M. “Mike” Simmons, 40, of Zelienople died Saturday.

He was born in Pittsburgh, June 13, 1971, the son of Margaret (Lippke) Simmons of Zelienople and the late Donald Simmons.

He was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, and he worked for the Sippel Co. in Ambridge

He was a member of the Harmony Moose.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife, Heather (Reeb) Simmons of Zelienople; a daughter, Kristal Keith of Etna; a son, Michael Simmons of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Madeline Reeb, Allison Simmons and Eliza Simmons, all of Zelienople; a grandson, Leland Richee of Etna; three brothers, John Simmons of Virginia, D.J. Simmons of Butler and William Simmons of Lyndora; and three sisters, Judi Frederick of New Brighton, Colleen Simmons of Zelienople and Barb Prestia of Ellwood City.

<B>SIMMONS </B>— There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Edward M. “Mike” Simmons, who died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Paul Merrill officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of <B>Huntsman Funeral Home</B>, Rochester.
