PENN TWP — John Aubrey of Aubrey's Dubbs Dred is the leader after Monday's first round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Tour Championship at the Butler Country Club.
Aubrey carded a 4-under-par 66, two strokes ahead of Gordon Vietmeier of Vietmeier Golf Center.
Rob McClellan of Butler Country Club is tied in fourth place with a 70. Joe Boros of Treesdale Golf & Country Club is tied at 13th (73) and Denny Dolci of St. Jude Golf Club tied at 26th (79).
The final round will be played today.
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby's return to the ice will have to wait a little longer.The team placed the former MVP on the injured list Monday, meaning he'll have to miss at least the first week of the season.Crosby is continuing to recover from concussion-like symptoms sustained last January. He has been skating with the Penguins since training camp opened but has not yet been cleared for contact.The Penguins open the season on Thursday at Vancouver.Under the rules the earliest Crosby could be activated is Oct. 13, when Pittsburgh hosts Washington.

BRISTOL, Conn. — ESPN pulled Hank Williams Jr.'s classic intro song from its broadcast of Monday night's NFL game after the country singer famous for the line “Are you ready for some football?” used an analogy to Adolf Hitler in discussing President Barack Obama.In an interview Monday morning on Fox News' “Fox & Friends,” Williams, unprompted, said of Obama's outing on the links with House Speaker John Boehner: “It'd be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.”
