Loretta J. Erdos, 62, of 126 Oberlin Drive, Butler, died Thursday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 7, 1949, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Margaretta (Ramage) Wilson.

She graduated from Butler High School and from Butler County Community College with an associate degree in accounting and also in business administration.

Loretta had worked for the U.S. Postal Service and also for the Pennsylvania State Employment Office, until she retired in January 2010. She loved traveling across the United States, enjoyed fishing, flowers, her two dogs and loved nature and animals of all kinds.

Surviving are her husband, James L. Erdos; two sons, Jason Miller of Chico, Calif., and Eric Miller of Truckee, Calif.; one stepson, James L. Erdos of Butler; one stepdaughter, Shannon A. Jock of Denton, Texas; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Bob Wilson of Butler, Melanie Piper of Green Cove, Fla., Millie Bortmas of Marienville, A.J. Christie of Butler, Betty Savannah of Butler and John Wilson of Lyndora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

<B>ERDOS</B> — Friends of Loretta J. Erdos, who died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.,Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank, 400 E. Locust St., Butler, PA 16001.
