Addine Hoke

Hoke

Addine Hoke, 92, of Butler passed away at 10:10 p.m. Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 27, 1918, in Enterprise, Miss., to the late Charles Brown and Etta Clark Brown.

After her husband passed away, she was the owner and operator of the Marion Hoke Trucking Co. in Butler.

Mrs. Hoke was a member of the Church of Christ in Zelienople.

Mrs. Hoke is survived by two daughters, Barbara Chapman and her husband, Jimmy, of Moore, S.C., and Patricia “Patti” Fleeger and her husband, Lester, of Butler; one son, Charles Hoke and his wife, Anne, of Murray, Ky.; three grandchildren, Geoff Chapman, Anne Marie Main and Rebecca Hoke; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Duncan, Ethan Chapman, Jaggar Chapman, Emily Main and Catherine Main; one sister, Lorraine Mallard of Enterprise, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion G. Hoke, who passed away March 20, 1964; one brother, and two sisters.

HOKE — Friends of Addine Hoke, who died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Minister Reid Moon of the Church of Christ in Zelienople officiating.Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the Church of Christ, P.O. Box 241, Zelienople, PA 16063 or to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements are by
