Butler County Civil War Roundtable is sponsoring its first Downtown Butler Ghost Walk at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 29. The 60-minute guided walking tour will begin in Diamond Park across from the Butler County Courthouse. Tickets are $10. Reservations are available by calling 724-256-9020. All children younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

regionFort Ligonier, Route 30 in Ligonier, will be the site of Fort Ligonier Days at the fort and throughout town Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the fort is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 14 and free for children age 5 and younger. Fort Pitt Museum in Point State Park examines the rifleman’s material culture, lifestyle and place in American history as part of “The American Frontier Rifleman: Tall Tales & Truth,” through Oct. 30.
