Joan Kathryn Arblaster

Joan Kathryn Arblaster, 73, of Slippery Rock passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at her home.

Joan was born March 21, 1938, in Clintonville to the late Howard Dewayne and Wilma (Steiner) Campbell.

She was a member of the Grove City Church of the Nazarene.

She was a faithful Christian who loved her family and enjoyed gardening, swimming, boating and roller skating.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Henry “Hank” Arblaster; one daughter, Kathryn Kopka and her husband, David, of Michigan; two sons, Henry Arblaster and his wife, Dee, of Harrisville and Merle Arblaster and his fiancee, Veronica Foster, of Slippery Rock; and three grandchildren, Kaleb Kopka, MacKenzie Arblaster and Alexis Arblaster. Also surviving are two sisters, Wilma Young of West Sunbury and Carol Luxon and her husband, Bill, of Clinton; and one brother, Ralph Campbell and his wife, Rosemary, of Iowa.

ARBLASTER — Friends of Joan Kathryn Arblaster, who died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, will be received at

William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today with services at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday with her son-in-law, Pastor David Kopka, officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
