Alfred A. Arnoldi (Fred Arnold)
Alfred A. Arnoldi (Fred Arnold), 95, passed away peacefully Sunday at the Butler VNA Hospice after a brief illness.
He was born March 3, 1916, in Monessen, a son of the late Bernardo and Louise Arnoldi.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was a self-employed mason and worked with his son until he was 84 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Arnoldi, who he married March 9, 1973; a sister, Mary Vernet of Monessen; three sons, Alfred and his wife, Annie, of Thompson Station, Tenn., Bruce and his wife, Marilyn, of Gallatin, Tenn., and Douglas and his wife, Paula, of Renfrew; two daughters, Kathy Baiardo of Butler and Karen and her husband, Michael, St. Esprit, of New Brighton; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sophie, two brothers and two sisters.
He was a treasured member of the family and will be sadly missed.
