Sidney “Sid” H. Arnold, 75, of Karns City went to be with the Lord on Friday at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born March 21, 1936, in Cadogan, he was a son of the late Sidney and Imojean (Kilgore) Arnold, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by two stepsons, Robert and Lewis Heller, and a brother, Dave Arnold.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jeannetta (Nye) Arnold; children, Beth Ann (Jim) Tedeski of Foxburg, Darla Brehm of California, Karen (Jack) Butler of Emlenton, Crystal (Mark) Yeager of Chicora, Chris (Linda) Arnold of Butler, Don Heller of West Sunbury, Janet (Doug) Rodgers of Petrolia, and Nichole (Bud) Snyder of Petrolia; one sister, Alice (Frank) Willis of Greenville, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Sid drove for Refiners Transport and in his later years for the Shrivers Bus Co., Bus 26. He was a member of the Zion Church of Petroleum Valley, the Teamsters and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.

<B>ARNOLD</B> — Friends of Sidney “Sid” H. Arnold, who died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Zion Church of Petroleum Valley, 1392 Kittanning Pike, Karns City, where a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Joe Olkowski officiating.Arrangements are handled by the <B>Hindman Funeral Home</B>, Johnstown.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hindmanfuneralhomes.com.
