10:45 a.m. Thursday — Charles Patton Jr., 31, and Melissa Wilfong, 32, both of Butler, each were charged with theft after they allegedly tried to steal aluminum cans from a bin behind the Longhorn Corral Motel and Restaurant in Franklin Township.10:13 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Thomas C. Custer, 27, of Grove City crashed into a tree along Creek Bottom Road in Marion Township. Custer was not injured and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

10:51 a.m. Friday — A van driven by Teresa M. Vinca, 49, of Harrisville and a van driven by Brenda M. Bushardt, 60, of Volant collided on Route 208 in Springfield Township. No one was injured, and Vinca was cited for following too closely.
