Stanley C. Falen
Stanley C. Falen, 84, of Harmony died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 2, 1926, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Robert and Emma Porter Falen, who are deceased.
Mr. Falen was a World War II veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1986 from Babcock & Wilcox Steel Co., after 34 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mr. Falen is survived by his wife, Beverly (Nagel) Falen, who he married Nov. 11, 1947; two daughters, Sharen (Larry) Badger of Ellwood City and Valarie (Ron) Wearing of Evans City; a son, Robert (Sharyn) Falen of Ellwood City; two brothers, Richard Falen of New Castle and Carl Falen of Ellwood City; a sister, Evelyn Kinard of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers.

Falen, who died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at <B>GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
