Margaret W. Boros, 84, of Zelienople passed away Wednesday evening at her home.

Born July 15, 1927, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Menyhart and Helen (Horvitz) Soltesz.

Mrs. Boros was a faithful life member of the St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she attended Mass daily and was a former member of the Ladies Choir.

She enjoyed playing cards, taking walks and spending time with her sisters.

Mrs. Boros is survived by her son, John P. (Monica) Boros of Bowie, Md.; two daughters, Kristina E. (Kenneth) Lavoie of Renfrew and Jennifer L. Boros of Zelienople; two sisters, Kate Hartmann and Mag Carver, both of Zelienople; 13 grandchildren, Jason Boros, Kent Courtney, Katie Rasmussen, Aaron Benek, Christopher Benek, Meredith Benek, Timothy Sweeney, Kelly Sweeney, Megan Davis, Molly Sweeney, Nora Sweeney, Kristine Carbone and Matthew Carbone; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Boros, who died July 2, 2002; a daughter, Joyce Benek, who died Feb. 1, 2011; a brother, Stephen Soltesz; and sisters, Rose Mesessan and Anna Lukes.

<B>BOROS </B>— Friends of Margaret W. Boros, who died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with Father William Domer, church pastor, officiating.
