Katelyn and Robert Jahn

Katelyn Farney and Robert Jahn, both of Durham, N.C., were united in marriage Sept. 17 at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. James Boos officiated. A reception followed at Cooper Hall in Saxonburg.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Judy Farney of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Janet Ellison and Daniel Jahn, both of Butler.

The honor attendant was Nicole Gurner of Cary, N.C. Bridesmaids included Shannon Jahn of Denver, Niki Huellen of Mars, Beth Lynch of Saxonburg and Tammy Munsch of Pittsburgh.

Performing the duties of best man was Mike Jahn of Denver. Ushers included Danny McChesney of Cary, Andy Farney of Saxonburg, Candon Fleeger of Butler and Todd Vorano of Richmond, Va.

The bride is a graduate of Knoch High School and the Citizens School of Nursing. She is employed by Duke University Hospital in Durham.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He is employed by General Electric in Durham.

Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple is making their home in Durham.
