Wilda Mary Hollenbaugh, 85, of Dayton, Armstrong County, passed away on Thursday at ACMH Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1926, in North Apollo to William Wilbert and Marie G. (Dunbar) Watterson.

Wilda graduated from Ford City High School and worked as a secretary for Eljer.

After her marriage to Ernest D. Hollenbaugh on March 28, 1953, she moved to Dayton and became very involved in the community. She was a member of the Dayton Grange 1819 and the Woodmen of the World Lodge, and she enjoyed attending events at the Dayton Senior Center.

Wilda was an active member of the Concord Presbyterian Church and dedicated much of her time to the Women's Missionary Association.

She is survived by her son, Dale F. Hollenbaugh and his fiancée, Michele Forrest, of Mars; one daughter, Nelda L. Snyder and her husband, James, of Dayton; two grandsons, Matthew J. Snyder and Joshua D. H. Hollenbaugh; two step-grandchildren, Brian Durm and Jessica Ray; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Wagner of Sagamore, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilda was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 43 years, Ernest D. Hollenbaugh, who passed away March 9, 1997; and two brothers, Ed and Bernard Watterson.

<B>HOLLENBAUGH</B> — The family of Wilda Mary Hollenbaugh, who died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Bauer-Bly Funeral Home</B>, 125 E. Main St., Dayton. Additional visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David D.
