I’m writing on the subject of deer-kill photos.
I’m a hunter whose family always has hunted. It’s not only a sport, but for many provides food for the table.
It takes skill and some luck to bag a deer, and a young hunter harvesting a deer is something about which to be truly proud.
I know firsthand, since my grandson got his first buck this year.
As I look at other articles and photos in the paper — about deaths, car accidents, child abuse, pedophiles, rapists, murders, etc. — everything in the paper doesn’t appeal to all readers, but that’s what freedom of the press and free speech are all about.
Those who don’t like what they see or read in the newspaper should do as I do sometimes. It’s a simple solution.
