Virginia M. Isacco

Virginia M. Isacco, 79, of William Flynn Highway, Slippery Rock, passed away at 2 p.m. Saturday in VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Ganister, Blair County, to Angelo Calderone and Mary Dometrovich Calderone.

She graduated from Grove City High School in 1950.

Virginia was a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, and the Christian Mothers of the church.

Mrs. Isacco was a homemaker and a great cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She married John P. Isacco on Oct. 24, 1953, and he died Nov. 8, 1977.

Surviving are her companion, George Fritz; three sons, Ronald J. Isacco and his wife, Jacquie M., of Slippery Rock, Kenneth A. Isacco and his wife, Linda J., and Mark A. Isacco and his wife, Andrea D., all of Grove City; grandchildren, Jeremy Isacco and his wife, Melissa, Justin Isacco and his wife, Melissa, Tabbi Isacco, Ashton Blake and her husband, Christian, and Samuel Isacco; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas and London; a sister, Jay Notareschi of West Sunbury; and two brothers, Robert Calderone of Boyers and Edward Calderone and his wife, Mary Jane, of Butler.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, a sister, and a brother.

<B>ISACCO </B>— Friends of Virginia M. Isacco, who died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>JAMISON FUNERAL HOME</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, with the Rev. Kevin G. Poecking, church pastor, officiating.
