Mars man sentenced on child porn charges
PITTSBURGH — A Mars man will spend three years in prison, followed by 10 years probation, after pleading guilty to possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Bradley J. Schrott, 29, was sentenced Friday in federal court for possessing still images and videos of child pornography in computer files following an April 6, 2010, arrest warrant served at his Crowe Avenue home.
An undercover FBI operation discovered more than 7,500 such files had been shared by Schrott’s computer, which had about 45 videos and 2,000 still images containing child pornography at the time of his arrest.
