Kathleen Betty Griffith, 84, of Butler died Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

Born May 21, 1927, in Millvale, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Betram) Pavlick.

She was a homemaker and a mother, having moved to Butler in 1994 from Somerset.

Surviving are her son, Donald E. Griffith Jr. of Confluence; a daughter, Lynda S. Hostetler of Somerset; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a great-great-great-grandson; two brothers, James Pavlick of Sharpsburg and Edward Pavlick of Etna; and a sister, Doris Moyer of Virginia Beach, Va. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Griffith, who died May 9, 1985; two brothers; two sisters, and a grandson.
