Ruby A. Fair
Ruby A. Fair, 79, of Butler went home to be with our Lord on Thursday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Oct. 9, 1933, in East Brady to the late James and Helen Viola (Waite) Wiles.
Ruby and her husband of 56 years, Donald, were some of the founding owners of Country Paradise Park in East Brady. She also worked at Honey Bear in Butler and for several years, at her daughter Sue’s day care in Butler.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Community Church. She was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed going to casinos.
Surviving are her husband, Donald of Butler; daughters, Susan (George) Bowser of Butler and Rita (Dan) Winger of Butler; sons, Edward (Lin) Fair of Butler, Dean (Crystal) Fair of Meadville and John (Karen) Fair of Mascoutah, Ill.; twin sister, Ruth Fair of East Brady; brothers, Elmer Wiles of Doylestown, Pa., and Robert (Becky) Wiles of Warren, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jessica Fair; an infant grandson; sister, Helen Wiles; brother-in-law, Dave Fair; and sister-in-law, Jewel Wiles.
FAIR — Ruby A. Fair passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, in Worthington, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul's Community Church, 2167 State Route 268, Chicora. The Rev. Randall J. Forester will officiate. The interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler VNA Hospice.
