F. May Schwab

F. May Schwab, 88, of Mars died Monday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Nottingham, England, on May 18, 1923, she was the daughter of Harold and Frances Ruby Kirk Lilley, who are deceased.

A homemaker, Mrs. Schwab was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church and the Mars American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at LAS St. John Lutheran Care Center in Mars.

She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Lawther of Valencia, and Kim Shafer (Daniel) of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren, Tracy Gualtieri (Patrick), Craig Lawther (Leslie) and Claudia Shafer; her great-grandchildren, Phillip, Emma and Ethan Lawther, Tyler and Lea Gualtieri; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Schwab is preceded in death by her husband, Kermit W. Schwab, who she married July 18, 1945, and who died Dec. 17, 1993; her sister, Eunice Harrop; and two brothers, Norman Lilley and Derrick Lilley.

SCHWAB — Friends of F. May Schwab, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, will be received at the

MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev.
