Robert Leroy Wiles, 61, of North Washington passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Parsonville, Pa., on June 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Wilbert Michael and Laura Laverne Bell Wiles.

Leroy was employed for a number of years at Pullman Standard working on rail cars. He loved all things racing and was a Harley Davidson fanatic. Leroy enjoyed sports, watching football and especially watching his grandsons play baseball. He also liked to spend time hunting.

He is survived by his fiance, Mildred Blom of North Washington; four daughters, Tammy (Darren) Hutchens of North Washington, Chrystal (David) Brown of North Washington, Lydia (William) Moore of Slippery Rock and Bobbi Hernandes of New Castle; two sons, John of Ridgeville and Cody Wiles of North Washington; one sister, Lydia Wiles of Petrolia; two stepdaughters, Jennifer (Doug) Wallace of West Sunbury and Melissa (Chris) Ware of Texas; four stepsons, Thomas Hicks of Chicora, Calvin Birchbickler of Slippery Rock, Andrew (Bobbi) Cox, and Dennis Harnish of Richmond, Va.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Grossman Wiles; three brothers, John, Jim and Jay Wiles; and two sisters, Rosemary Baker, and an infant sister.

<B>WILES</B> — Visitation for Robert Leroy Wiles, who passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, </B>Main St.<B>,</B> Eau Claire, and noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
