Lucille 'Lucy' Shively
Lucille M. (Lucy) Shively, 73, of Butler passed away Saturday at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an extended illness.
Lucy was born in Johnstown on May 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Salvo of Rimersburg.
She grew up in Rimersburg and was a 1956 graduate of Union High School. She was an educational sales specialist for World Book Encyclopedia for 25 years.
Lucy married Neil F. Shively on Sept. 2, 1961. They shared more than 50 years of marriage.
She leaves Neil behind to cherish her memory as well as her daughters, Renea Wilson and her husband, Doug, of Cranberry Township and Lisa Costello and her husband, Greg, of Greensboro, N.C. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren, Tyler, Dominic, Conner, Anthony and Gianna.
She also is survived by three brothers, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucy's unconditional love for her family and friends will be irreplaceable. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Everyone please meet at the church. The Rev. Steven V. Neff, pastor, will officiate.
