Vehicle accident on Route 8 slows traffic
BUTLER TWP — A vehicle accident on Route 8 near the Picklegate Bridge about 9:45 a.m. today has caused a big traffic jam and forced police to reroute northbound traffic on Route 8 onto Litman Road near the Greater Butler Shopping Plaza, according to emergency dispatcher radio transmissions.
One person may be entrapped in a vehicle, according to an emergency dispatch transmission.
