Ronald L. Cable
Ronald L. “Ron” Cable, 65, of Zelienople passed away on Wednesday while under the care of VA Butler Healthcare.
Born Oct. 4, 1946, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Ralph H. Cable of Zelienople and the late Thelma J. (Meinhart) Cable.
Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and he was a lifetime member of the Evans City VFW. He was a true outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt with his son. Ron simply loved life and was extremely passionate about drag racing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his son, Scott Cable and his wife, Amber, of Zelienople; his companion in life, Nellie Miller of Evans City; his sister, Mary Jane Cable-Magill of Zelienople; and two precious granddaughters, Makenna and Elena Cable.
<B>CABLE</B> — The family of Ronald L. “Ron” Cable, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
