Beverly J. English McWilliams

Beverly J. English McWilliams, 80, of West Deer Township died Thursday.

She was born March 8, 1931, in Pittsburgh, and attended East Deer High School, graduating in 1949. Following graduation she enlisted into the Woman's Army Corps serving during the Korean War. She then worked for many years as a school bus driver for the West Deer and Deer Lakes School District.

She enjoyed sewing, fishing, knitting and wood sculpturing.

Survivors include her sons, Charles D. (Sandra) Thompson of Curtisville and George T. McWilliams Jr. of Buffalo Township; her daughter, Patricia A. (James) Geiser of Tarentum; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Kathy) English of Kane; and her sisters, Dorothy Baer of Ohio and Mary K. Conway of Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. McWilliams Sr., and her parents, William B. and Hettie B. (Shorts) English.
