Agostino

Shirley J. Agostino, 81, of Harrisville died at 8:28 p.m. Sunday in UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

She was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Harrisville, to William G. Stillwagon and Louise Hummel Stillwagon.

She retired as an LPN from the Grove City Medical Center with 39 years of service.

She was a member of the West Unity Community Church in Harrisville. She was active in the church missionary society. She was a member of Harrisville Community Club and the Harrisville American Legion Auxiliary. She attended the Slippery Rock Senior Center and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

She married Nicholas Agostino on March 15, 1946, in Harrisville. He died on Dec. 28, 2000.

She is survived by three daughters, Connie L. Osburn and her husband, Edward W., of Forestville, Sherry R. Leone and her husband, Thomas C., of Slippery Rock and Gwen D. Cihonski and her husband, Louis A., of Harrisville; one son, Michael N. Agostino and his wife, Crystal F., of Harrisville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delores Lucas and her husband, William, of Grove City and Patty Flynn of Harrisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and three brothers.
