Charles Burdette Christie
Charles Burdette Christie, 73, of Butler passed away peacefully Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
He was born April 7, 1938, in Butler, the son of the late Clair A. and Aneita (Fleeger) Christie.
Charles enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Steelers. He worked for Thrower Concrete and for Kwik Fill in Prospect.
Surviving are his wife, Alma “A.J.” (Wilson) Christie; three sons, Mark (Amy) Christie of Delmont, Pa., Steven Christie of Pensacola, Fla., and Don (Lauren) Stivison of Buckeye, Ariz.; a daughter, Amy Stivison (Bob Blanc) of Renfrew; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Marilyn (Raymond) Stahl of Saxonburg.
