Harry E. Monnier
Harry E. Monnier, 91, of West Deer Township passed away Wednesday at New Haven Court, Butler.
Born Sept. 13, 1920, in West Deer Township, he was the son of the Late Frank and Rachael (Magill) Monnier.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an engineer for Allegheny Ludlum in Natrona and in California.
He was a member of the Pollock Lodge No. 502 F&AM Tarentum, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania Grange in which he was a life member.
Harry always said he grew up in the East Union Presbyterian Church, West Deer Township, where he obtained his faith,
He is survived by his niece and nephews, Geanne Ann Marks, George Edward Marks, Merritt Roy Marks Jr. and Paul Gordon Marks, all of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Ann (Lourimore) Monnier; and a sister, Elma Mae Marks.

Monnier, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, are asked to attend the funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at <B>Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home</B>, Russelton, West Deer Township, with the Rev. Donald Aull of the Faith United Presbyterian Church officiating.Interment will follow at the East Union Cemetery, West Deer Township.
