SLIPPERY ROCK — The Awesome Spirit of Wildlife will present an interactive experience with exotic animals at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at the Slippery Rock University Union's multipurpose room.

The goal of the program is to introduce people to some of the most misunderstood animals and to educate them in regards to how these animals play a role in conservation and raise awareness as to some of the problems they are experiencing in the wild today.

The event also will feature Maryjane Angelo of Skye's Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Harrisville, who will be presenting live animals, including birds of prey.

The event is open to the public.

The Awesome Spirit of Wildlife is a Slippery Rock-based nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and exotic animal rescue.

GROVE CITY — The Grove City Community Library will be featuring Brown Bag Classics from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the library, 125 W. Main St.The 1920s classic “The Jazz Singer” will be screened.
