Raymond E. Schell Jr.
Raymond E. Schell Jr., 69, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Mars, died Monday evening at VA Butler Healthcare.
Born in Butler, on Nov. 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Mary Kaufold Schell Sr.
Raymond was a disabled veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Mars American Legion, the NRA, the North American Hunting Association and the North American Fishing Association.
Surviving are a brother, John E. Schell and his wife, Mary, of Slippery Rock; his three sisters, Shirley Wheeler and her husband, Harry, of Wattsburg, Pa., and Marylou and Eleanor in Arizona; and his nieces and nephews.
<B>SCHELL</B> — Friends of Raymond E. Schell Jr., who died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, will be received at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
