George A. Snyder
George A. Snyder, 90, of Butler passed away on Friday at his home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Butler, the son of the late Floyd Snyder and the late Nellie (Ambrose) Snyder.
George was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served in World War II. He was also a member of the Elks 170 and the American Legion 117. He enjoyed golfing.
Surviving are five daughters, Barbara Leasure of Butler, twins, Patti (Robert) Clark of Butler and Judy (Lamar) Uber of New Castle, Jill (Robert) Mick of Charlotte, N.C., and Amy Clouse and her fiance, Brian Higgins; 12 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Dean (Peggy) Snyder of Butler and Bruce (Pat) Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, A. Patricia (Elliott) Snyder, and two brothers.
