Ruth E. Black
Ruth E. Black, 94, of Cabot passed away Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice with her loving family around her.
Born June 23, 1917, in West Deer Township, she was the daughter of Joseph Dillner and Catherine Bonin Dillner.
Ruth was a homemaker. She was a life-long member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, where she had been a deacon. She enjoyed quilting and gardening and was a wonderful cook and baker.
Surviving are her husband, Oliver G. Black of Cabot, who she married Dec. 28, 1938; two sons, Oliver G. (Linda) Black Jr. of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Leroy W. Black (Kathy Yingling) of Cabot; one daughter, Sandra L. Black of Cabot; three brothers, Herman Dillner, Earl Dillner and Howard Dillner; one sister, Hazel Mink; three grandchildren, Lisa, Larry and Jessica; and two great-grandchildren, Corey and Jet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harry and Elmer Dillner; and one son, David Black.

Black, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, 390 Frazier Road, Saxonburg, with the Rev. James Steiner officiating.
