MARSHALL TWP, Allegheny County — Rick Santorum will have an election-night party at the Four Points Sheraton North hotel Tuesday as election returns come in from the Wisconsin and Maryland primaries.

Santorum, one of four candidates seeking the Republican Party’s nomination for president, will attend the event with his family and will give a nationally televised speech afterward, according to his press secretary.

Doors will open at 8 p.m.

Jeff Smith, chairman of the Butler County Republican Committee, said he anticipates a large turnout Tuesday night for the event.

“There’s a lot of local interest here for Rick and a lot of people in the county are big supporters of his,” Smith said. “I’ve already received lots of calls about how people can help him.”

Santorum, who grew up in Butler, is in Pennsylvania to campaign before the state’s April 24 primary.
