Linda Marie Bowman Beveridge, 64, of Butler died Wednesday afternoon at her home.

Born Dec. 31, 1947, in Sharon, she was a daughter of William and Nellie Marie (Maloy) Bowman.

She was a graduate of Reynolds High School and had worked as a real estate agent. Linda was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler and the ASPCA.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Beveridge, who she married Dec. 30, 1971; one daughter, Erin DeYoung and her husband, Rory, and their two children, Noah Beveridge and Charlotte DeYoung, all of Butler; one son, Scott Beveridge and his wife, Nikki, and their two children, Sam Beveridge and Will Beveridge, all of Rogers, Ark.; her father, William Bowman of Mercer; one sister, Bonnie (Ralph) Cameron of Gainesville, Fla.; two brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Bowman of Greenville and Tod (Lorie) Bowman of Mercer; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law, Gail and John Megic of Ocala, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; her dogs, Wally and Zoe; and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Bowman; one brother, Donnie R. Bowman; her dogs, Hannah and Hendrix; her precious cats; multiple friends and extended family; and her in-laws, James and Sarah Beveridge.

BEVERIDGE — Friends of Linda Marie Bowman Beveridge, who died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, will be received at the

Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
