Francis R. 'Frank' Kotomski
Francis R. “Frank” Kotomski, 73, of Harrisville died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1938, in Pittsburgh to Frank J. Kotomski and Mary (Zeger) Kotomski.
He was a 1958 graduate of Etna High School, and he moved to the area in the early 1970s.
He was a corrections officer at the Mercer State Regional Jail, retiring in 2004 with more than 20 years of service.
He was a member of the Rider Evangelical Lutheran Church of West Sunbury. He was a member of the American Legion Post 243 of West Sunbury, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia L. (McIntosh) Kotomski, who he married on Feb. 20, 1960; two daughters, Joanne P. Gurowski and her husband, Daniel, of Slippery Rock and Samantha Kotomski of Grove City; two sons, Richard P. Kotomski of Harrisville and Mark A. Kotomski and his wife, Carol, of Harrisville; grandchildren Krystan, Chadwick, Frankie, Brandon, Heather and Summer; and one brother, Ronald C. Kotomski and his wife, Claudine, of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Main St., Harrisville, with the Rev. Dennis R. Hindman Sr. of the Rider Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
