SUMMIT TWP — Faith Lutheran Church, 241 Freeport Road, is taking donations for the homeless ministry of First Trinity Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh.
Every Sunday, church members feed the homeless. Also, once a month, they hold “Monthly Mercies” to distribute clothing and toiletries.
Possible donations include toilet items, nonperishable food items, size 4 baby diapers, new white men’s T-shirts size L and XL, both men’s and women’s clothing size L, XL or larger and clothing for boys age 1 to 8 years.

VFC donation campaign startsWINFIELD TWP — Donation requests were mailed to service area residents by the Winfield Township Volunteer Fire Company for its 2012 annual fund drive.Those who did not receive letters can mail donations to Winfield Township VFC, P.O. Box 281, Cabot, PA 16023.
